About Ángela

Ángela has been teaching yoga for over ten years. She has a passion for sharing yoga, meditation and movement. She has taught in Thailand, the Philippines, Spain and Sri Lanka.

In her offerings, she loves to inspire students to connect with their bodies and their inner joy, to explore and illuminate different aspects of themselves, seeking to influence and motivate people to pursue their goals and projects.

She holds space in individual and collective sessions and her offerings include Yoga, Meditation, Abdominal Massage (Chi Nei Tsang), Movement Guidance and Innerdance.

Embodied Yoga

Embodied yoga is a style of mindful hatha yoga. It will make you more aware of your body, the physical aspect of you. Through mindful and easeful sequences I can help you drop more into your body, as a great tool for greater self-knowledge and as a vehicle for self-expression.

We dive into the body by bringing our minds and awareness to different aspects of postures, and by taking the breath and our presence into what we are doing. Through asana we will explore and connect with themes such as compassion, self-love and empowerment.

Movement Meditation

Movement is medicine. Sound is medicine. Words are medicine.

Through intention, movement, breath and connection, we illuminate layers and aspects of us. We play with qualities like joy, love or harmony and we look at them through different energy centres and/or perspectives that are already dwelling and present in our body.
This is a practice for your pleasure, for intimacy with yourself. Movement is lovingly guided but eventually it is up to each of us to bring our own colours, shades and shapes, our own flavours and creative interpretations into the movement and the dance.
We can dance any aspect of our Self and then the dance becomes a meditation and a tool for self exploration, self-knowledge and healing. We can dance our energy, our questions, our prayers, our archetypes. As we move creatively and intuitively we open, we breathe, feel, share, explore, create and celebrate our existence.

Inner Dance

Innerdance is a healing method in which we surrender and open to the present moment and we welcome every aspect of ourselves. It is about making space for what is wanting to be seen, heard, known or loved within you. As you lay on the mat, you are asked to trust and surrender to the gifts of your inner wisdom. You will be held by the playlist, channelled words, voice, touch, and energy work – all creating a field that shifts brainwave states as you journey into dreamtime – awake.
With music, bodywork and words we create space for insights, answers, or more meaning in your life. It can boost your creativity, help with emotional release and help you find healing for personal issues. It is both a journey into your own body and your higher consciousness. You will be met where you are in the present moment. Come with your questions about life, career, love or self-care.

Reiki

Reiki is a healing art of Japanese origin. In a Reiki session, healing energy is passed on through the hands, which are placed on specific places of the body. A Reiki session can help you lower your stress levels and help you relax in any given situation. The benefits of Reiki include greater emotional and spiritual clarity, stress reduction, body-mind balance, relief during emotional distress, relief of pain from migraine, arthritis, sciatica. It also helps with symptoms of asthma, chronic fatigue, menopausal symptoms, and insomnia and speeds up recovery from surgery or long-term illness.

Abdominal Massage

This is a deeply healing massage. We start the session with a short conversation to get to know you a bit better, followed by a meditation and the body work on your abdominal region. Its benefits are both physical and emotional. Abdominal massage can help you gain greater emotional clarity and spiritual growth, reduce stress and induce relaxation. It can also bring about inner peace and harmony by balancing the mind and emotions. It can offer relief during emotional distress, relieve pain from migraine, arthritis, sciatica. It also helps with symptoms of asthma, chronic fatigue, menopausal symptoms, and insomnia.
